What Does Fair Trade Mean

Fair Trade is a global effort to invest in accountable companies while protecting the environment and providing empowerment to producers and consumers alike. As a global economy, we are all connected and rely on one another to manufacture the goods and services required for daily living worldwide.

Why We Chose to be Made in the USA

“Made in the USA” products are those that are made entirely in the United States. Because we call America home, we strive as a business to invest directly into American lives and the well-being of our country. This also reduces carbon footprint as goods travel domestically rather than international.

Why Viscose Bamboo

Viscose bamboo is a soft, silky, and sustainable fabric used in our Aktibo Athletics line. While traditional viscose uses wood pulp from trees, bamboo is a fast growing crop that requires less pesticide and water usage, and soaks up to 12 tons of CO2 from the air per hectare*.

Why Organic Cotton

Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops on the planet and is also one of the most chemically processed. Organic cotton is held to a much higher standard requiring the use of non-genetically modified seeds, without toxic and persistent pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. This provides a diverse biological agriculture while replenishing and maintaining soil fertility. Our clothing is also manufactured with Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification.
